| Moonluna is another great old band experiencing a reunion event. After 15 years of not playing or writing together the two main members June Moon and Frank Porter are back at it. They are currently going over archive recordings dating from the late nineteen eighties to early nineteen nineties to create a CD. Basically they hope to pick up where they left off and do it better this time around. Moonluna music is a mix of folk, blues, rock, and maybe a little jazz and country. I have heard their sound described as a more eclectic Jefferson Airplane. June's vocals are strong and make up a big part of the Moonluna sound. Add the distinct sound of Frank Porter on guitar and harmonies and that completes the Moonluna sound. |
